Back by popular demand - Night at the Museum
Remake Learning Days Festival is ready for launch!
Unleash your inner scientist at this year’s Night at the Museum event!

Please note this will be a free but ticketed event - tickets will be available to book from 12pm on Friday 25 April but act fast as they won't be around for long!
Do you have your Voter ID ready?
You will need to show valid photo ID when voting at the local elections on 1 May.
Some accepted types of ID include:
- Passport
- Driving licence (including provisional license)
- Blue badge
- Concessionary travel cards
- Identity card with PASS mark (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
- Biometric Immigration document
- Ministry of Defence identity card
- Certain national identity cards
No ID? You can apply for free voter ID now - apply by 5pm on Wednesday 23 April:
You could make a real difference with Real Help
You have the power to make a significant impact.
If you encounter someone sleeping rough, we are asking you not to ignore the situation. By sharing their location with the Starting Point outreach team, you can help someone receive the necessary support and care. The team will reach out to the individual and ensure they have access to resources that can aid them in transitioning away from life on the streets.

Great British Spring Clean 2025
Many thanks to all those who took part in the 2025 Great British Spring Clean in Doncaster.
Our teams issued 280 adult litter pickers, 154 children’s litter pickers, 273 high vis vests and 2180 red bags throughout the campaign!

Domestic Abuse Support
Domestic abuse can happen to anyone; partners, ex-partners, family members, regardless of sexuality or gender orientation, race, background or upbringing.
There is help and support available at the domestic abuse hub on 01302 737080, email dahub@doncaster.gov.uk

VE Day Celebrations - Big Lunch
Delicious Doncaster will also help celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day and honouring the last of a great generation as part of the Great British Food Festival.
We will be hosting a Big Lunch in the Market Square on Monday 5 May with the option to bring your own picnic or sample some on the fabulous food available from the Delicious Doncaster food vendors or other delicious options from our City Centre and Wool Market businesses, picnic tables will be available for use.
