Healthy Ageing: Falls Prevention Week 2025
There can be many different causes as to why yourself or a loved one may experience a fall. You can find more information on how to prevent falls, with our useful and quick tips in our falls prevention flyer.
If you’re worried and feel like you need to speak with an expert, come and visit us at our Healthy Ageing Day on Wednesday 24 September at Cast Doncaster, DN1 3BU.

If you are the parent or carer of a child or young person who has Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), we would love to hear from you about your experiences.
Share your thoughts as part of our SEND parent and carer survey - your involvement is very much appreciated and will help us to reflect on work done so far, as well as to understand where we need to prioritise our work in the future.
The survey will close on Friday 3 October 2025.
Prepare your Home for Winter with a Boiler Service!
As the colder months approach, this is your reminder to book your annual boiler service if you haven’t already. It’s important to have a yearly service, so any issues can be spotted before they become a problem.

Doncaster selected to be part of the National Health Programme
Doncaster has been selected to be part of the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme (NNHIP) – a new national initiative designed to transform how care is delivered in local communities.
The NNHIP supports local areas to develop neighbourhood health systems that focus on people with multiple long-term conditions and rising health risks. The programme will concentrate on shifting care closer to home, reducing pressure on hospitals and improving outcomes for people and communities, providing more joined-up and co-ordinated, preventative and person-centred care at neighbourhood level.
